Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo is still undecided on his future, despite reports of an apparent agreement to join New York City FC.

Pirlo has a year left on his contract with the Bianconeri, but it’s believed he would be allowed to leave the club earlier should he choose to do so, following his sterling service for the Serie A champions.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 36-year-old is still considering his options despite the temptation of Major League Soccer. Another possibility remains in the form of Qatari outfit Al-Jaish, coached by ex-Parma and Inter midfielder Sabri Lamouchi.

Such a switch would see the former AC Milan star competing against Barcelona legend Xavi in the Qatar Stars League, whom he could also face in this year’s Champions League final on Saturday.
