Jackson Martinez - PortoAlthough nothing has been made official, Porto striker Jackson Martinez would be edging ever closer to a move to AC Milan.

After AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani traveled to Portugal to meet with the player, reports soon came after that the Rossoneri were ready to meet the Colombian striker’s release clause (€35 million).

With the Rossoneri not yet agreeing terms with Porto, GazzettaTv have reported that Galliani would have a deal in place with Martinez. The Italian media report that AC Milan would have offered a four-year deal worth €3.5 million per annum.

The 28-year-old Colombian arrived at Porto back in 2012. Martinez has made 90 appearances for the Portuguese giants and scored 67 goals, with the striker finishing top-scorer (20 goals) last season.
