Real Madrid are understood to have ruled out a move for Arturo Vidal of Juventus due to the midfielder’s off field problems.

Los Blancos have been closely linked with a move for the Chilean star in each of the past three transfer windows although his private life issues have led to them deciding against making a move for him.

Marca is reporting on Thursday that club president Florentino Perez has decided to break off any negotiations with Vidal owing to the player’s ‘turbulent private life’ with his recent problems on international duty highlighting and confirming his suspicions.

The Bianconeri man crashed his Ferrari while drunk on the road in South America at the Copa America tournament and issued a tearful apology for doing so.

It is not the first time that his off-field antics have caused problems for the man who owns his own private limousine company back in his homeland.

In October of last year, the club fined him a massive €100,000 for getting involved in a fight at 5am while on a night out in the Loud club in Turin.
