sirigu - psgSerie A giants Roma are all set to make Paris Saint-Germain goal keeper Salvatore Sirigu their custodian for the new 2015/16 season.

Current shot stopper Morgan De Sanctis is expected to move on this summer, though the 38-year-old has hinted he may decide to stay as cover at the Stadio Olimpico but either way, the Giallorossi have made signing a new keeper a top priority.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Ligue 1 side are hoping to bring in German Kevin Trapp from Eintracht Frankfurt and this move could push the Italian international out of the club.  Should this happen, then Roma will offer Sirigu the opportunity to return to Serie A.

The former Palermo keeper has been a relative success in France, having made 142 appearances for the Paris-based outfit since joining in 2011. He has also featured 14 times for the Italian national side.
