Roma have officially completed the signing of midfielder Radja Nainggolan after purchasing the remaining 50 percent of the player’s registration from Cagliari.
The 27-year-old had been the subject of intense rumours recently with reports suggesting that Juventus, Inter, Manchester United and Liverpool were interested in landing the Belgian international.
All that speculation was put to rest on Wednesday as the Giallorossi released a statement on the club’s official website revealing that Roma have signed the player outright from the Isolani.
“AS Roma SpA has reached an agreement with Cagliari Calcio SpA to resolve the co-ownership of footballer Radja Nainggolan in AS Roma’s favor, in exchange for a fee of €9 million,” the statement read.
Nainggolan took to Twitter to reveal his delight at the announcement, stating that remaining with the Lupi was what he and the club had wanted all along.
