Roma have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko over a move to Serie A.

The Giallorossi are on the lookout for a new frontman as Mattia Destro is set to join Monaco, while the futures of Seydou Doumbia and Gervinho are both up in the air.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Dzeko has agreed to a five-year contract with Roma worth between €4.5-5.5 million a season.

However, no fee is yet agreed with City, who are said to want around €35 million for the 29-year-old Bosnian.

Meanwhile, Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic recently said that his international teammate would ‘run to Roma’, though Dzeko’s agent has said the player wants to stay at Manchester City.

Dzeko scored just four goals in 23 Premier League appearances last season.
