Romelu Lukaku EvertonRoma have set their sights on Everton star Romelu Lukaku, as the club attempt to ramp up transfer negotiations in the coming weeks.

The 22-year-old Belgian international enjoyed a mixed campaign at Goodison Park, failing to fully fire domestically but still managing to clock 20 goals in all competitions.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Lukaku’s agent Mino Raiola met with Roma director Walter Sabatini to discuss a potential move to the capital in the summer.

Sabatini was a busy man this week, also meeting with Genoa on Tuesday to discuss the future of Andrea Bertolacci and Iago Falque, two targets for the Giallorossi.

A player that is less likely to move to Roma is Alberto Aquilani, after it was revealed that the off-contract Fiorentina midfielder was proposed to his former club in the past few days.

That move looks less probable however, with the news that veteran midfielder Seydou Keita is close to renewing with the club for another season.
