Italian international Giuseppe Rossi believes Andrea Pirlo would be making the right decision if he moved to the MLS.
Rossi, who was born in America, played alongside Pirlo for Italy and is adamant it would be a great experience for Pirlo should he move to America.
“I think he would be making a good choice if he went to the MLS.” Rossi told Sky Sport Italia.
“It would be a great experience for Pirlo if he were to go to America.
“Football in America is making huge strides forward and Pirlo could help the development of the game in that part of the world.
“Pirlo is one of the best players of his generation, he would add so much to football in America.
“We all know ho good Pirlo is and I am sue he would be a great success in the MLS.
“If he joined New York City he would be joining one of the best teams in the country.”
