Sassuolo, Chievo and Udinese are chasing Fulham striker Konstantinos Mitroglou, with the Championship club looking to offload the forward who spent last season on loan at Olympiacos.

The 27-year-old had a disastrous spell with the Cottagers after signing for a reported €15 million from the Thryios in January 2014, suffering various injury and fitness problems and he managed only three appearances during his brief spell in the Premier League as he saw his new side relegated to the English second tier in May 2014.

Now according to Sky Sport Italia, the forward nicknamed ‘Mitrogoal’ is set to leave the west London club with Sassuolo expected to follow up their initial interest and make a formal offer for Greece international with the Flying Donkeys and the Zebrette also rumoured to be in interested in acquiring the big striker.

The former Panionios striker made 24 appearances, scoring 16 goals during his loan spell last season with the Athens giants.
