AC Milan have been turned down once again by a transfer target after Atletico Madrid’s Arda Turan has said no to them in favour of a move to the Premier League.

Although no club in England has been named it seems set that he will move to one of the top four, given that his agent confirmed that the Rossoneri’s lack of Champions League football was a reason behind his decision making.

The player’s agent Ahmet Bulut said of the Turkish international’s future: “The intention of Arda is to move away and leave Spain this summer and he would like to move to the Premier League.

“I can confirm that the Rossoneri and Paris Saint-Germain were interested in him, along with four other clubs but the player does not want to go to Milan for sure because they do not play in the Champions League so we discarded that idea immediately.

“He will not go to PSG either because he wants England.”

The 28-year-old, who has two years remaining on his deal in the Spanish capital, has been with the Rojiblancos since 2011.
