A young boy has thankfully awoken from a coma, and his first questioned concerned Juventus and whether they were still in the Champions League.
The 14-year-old, known as Michael, fell into a coma after being trapped under water over six feet deep and disappearing after going out with his friends in Milan. It took 42 minutes for the fire service to find him, bring him out and restart his heart.
Miraculously, according to The Independent, the child woke up from his coma this weekend, and the doctor in charge, Alberto Zangrillo, said it was, “the greatest satisfaction of my entire professional career.”
After four weeks of treatment, including the amputation of his right leg, when he woke up Michael had only one thing on his mind, are his favourite club Juventus still in the Champions League?
