AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli has revealed that new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is already putting the squad through their paces as they look for redemption in the upcoming season.
The Rossoneri returned for pre-season training at Milanello on July 3 and have since been undergoing intense double training sessions under the former Sampdoria tactician.
“First impressions are certainly positive,” Antonelli told Premium Sport.
“The coaching staff is very well drilled in order to prepare for the new season that awaits us.
“We want to redeem ourselves, Milan cannot repeat a season like the last one.
“We are all very motivated because we cannot afford to go back to 10th place.
“I am much better than I was last year and together with the medical staff we have decided to do a bit of running without the ball and return step by step to full training with the rest of the group.
“Mihajlovic is the right man at the right time, we are willing to follow him.”
