AC Milan forward Alessio Cerci has ruled out a summer move to Torino despite rumours of his desire to return to the club.

The Italian international, who is currently on loan from Atletico Madrid, was quick to dispel rumours that he will return to the club which he left last summer.

“It’s fantasy, I am not going back to Torino this summer,” Cerci told Tuttosport.

“With [Giampiero] Ventura at Torino I had a special feeling.

“Maybe I will return to Torino at the end of my career but it is early to think about it now.”

The Italian international also reflected on his half-season with parent club Atletico Madrid, which saw him eager to return to Italian football.

“I came to Milan after six months when I was not playing in Spain.”

“I needed time and confidence, I have been granted that with Milan.

“I can play as the second striker in the 4-3-1-2 because Mihajlovic sees good value in me in that position.

“In June I will return to Atletico Madrid but I hope to play well with Milan this season.”
