MIhajlovic - Ac MilanAC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has promised attacking football from his side ahead of their pre-season clash with Real Madrid on Thursday.

The two most successful clubs in the European Cup’s history will face-off in Shanghai in the International Champions Cup which also features the Rossoneri’s close rival Inter.

“Our aim is to play beautiful football,” said Mihajlovic in his pre-match press conference.

“A club like Milan should be equal to the strongest clubs in Europe, regardless of who our opponents are. We will try to impose our game on them.

“At the moment, the performance is more important than the result, but ofcourse we will try to win.”

The humid conditions in China could prove testing for the players but the former Sampdoria and Fiorentina coach made it clear that he will not tolerate any excuses.

“Both clubs have trained for a week in 37 degrees and we will each have to play in the same conditions, so I don’t want any excuses,” said the 46-year-old tactician.

“I want to see the right attitude from my players.”

The Rossoneri and Los Merengues have both already beaten Inter, 1-0 and 3-0 respectively, so this tie will decide the winner of the tournament.
