AC Milan have not given up hope of securing a return to the club for Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Rossoneri have been linked to the Swede repeatedly since the end of last season, but have since made moves for strikers Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano, making it appear that any possibility deal for the 33-year-old was dead.

According to Premium Sport, the Diavolo still hope for a resolution in negotiations between Ibrahimovic’s agent and PSG over the final year of his contract, which could result in either a renewal or release from the French league title winners.

It’s believed any agreement would need to involve a wage offer in the region of €6 million per season in order to tempt the imposing forward into a switch back to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

He left Serie A in 2012 to join the Parisian outfit, and has claimed three Ligue 1 championships since his arrival.
