AC Milan have reportedly submitted a €14 million offer for Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli.
The 20-year-old spent the entirety of last season on-loan with Sampdoria from the Giallorossi, with the player making a number of impressive performances under then boss Sinisa Mihajlovic.
According to Il Giornale, newly appointed AC Milan coach Mihajlovic is desperate to secure Romagnoli’s services, having previously managed the youngster last campaign.
The Serbian tactician has identified the need to bring in defensive reinforcements to the Rossoneri, in order to have any chance of returning to the pinnacle of Serie A.
Romagnoli, whose contract expires in June 2018, accumulated 30 league appearances during the 2014-15 season, scoring two goals and laying on a further two assists in the process.
