Alessandro Lucci, agent of Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado, has reiterated the future of his client is in West London.

The 27-year-old joined the Blues in January and signed a contract until June 2019, but has been heavily linked with a move away from the English club in recent weeks.

“I read with amazement, in some English and Italian newspapers of imaginary brokers or agents associated with the figure of Cuadrado. So I think it is right to clarify,” Lucci told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Cuadrado has struggled for form since joining Jose Mourinho’s squad, leading to speculation regarding his future with Inter, Juventus, Roma and Atletico Madrid all interested in loaning the Colombian winger.

“Cuadrado is a Chelsea player, strongly backed by Mourinho just over five months ago, and the coach believes strongly in him. Juan is fine in London is very likely to remain at Chelsea.

“Juan has the respect of many clubs, but I repeat, Juan is a Chelsea player.”
