Eduardo Vargas’ unhappy spell at Napoli could be nearing its conclusion as Qatari outfit Al Rayyan have had a €10 million accepted for the Chile international.
The 25-year-old has barely featured for the Partenopei in three seasons and has spent most of the time away on loan as he failed to impress the hierarchy at the club and the two parties look set to part ways on a permanent basis.
A €10m offer from Al Rayyan has been submitted to the Neapolitan side, and according to Sportitalia the Italians readily accepted the fee although the player himself is yet to agree on a move to Qatar.
Despite struggling during his time at the Stadio San Paolo, Vargas did enjoy one memorable performance in the Europa League against AIK in 2012 as he scored a hat-trick, his only goals in the Napoli shirt.
Vargas also impressed for Chile as the hosts won the 2015 Copa America.
