Alexis Sanchez has wished Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal all the best ahead of his move to Bayern Munich.
Vidal had been linked with a transfer to Sanchez’s side Arsenal but he is now on the verge of signing for the German champions.
“I am very happy for you my friend.” Sanchez told reporters on Arsenal’s pre season tour of Asia.
“I hope you have a great experience and a great time at your new club.
“It is a great club for a great player.”
The deal for Vidal is expected to be worth €36 million with an extra €4 million to be paid as bonuses.
Vidal will be replacing Bastian Schweinsteiger in Bayern’s midfielder, after the German World Cup winner joined Manchester United.
Sanchez and Vidal are both Chilean internationals who won the Copa America in their home country earlier in the summer
