Daniele Rugani is unlikely to leave Juventus this summer despite attracting interest from Arsenal.

The English side had a €22 million rejected by Juventus for the Italian under 21 international and it looks certain that Rugani will be playing his football at the Juventus stadium next season.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri believes Rugani will be crucial for Juventus in the 2015/16 campaign.

With Juventus selling Angelo Ogbonna to West Ham United earlier in the summer and Juve centre backs Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci getting older, Rugani could be of great importance to Juventus.

Should Rugani not feature heavily in Juventus’ first half of the season, however, he could be sent out on loan in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old played in every Serie A game for Empoli last season and in every match of Italy’s disappointing European under 21 championship campaign earlier in the summer.
