Cigarini – Atalanta

Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini’s future isn’t as secure as once thought, with Torino and Sassuolo reportedly chasing the former Napoli man.

The Italian midfielder was linked with a move to Premier League side Swansea in June but no move materialised.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, however, Cigarini could still be on the move within Italy with Torino and Sassuolo both interested in the player.

Il Toro have already poached full-back Davide Zappacosta and midfielder Daniele Baselli from Atalanta this summer.

The Neroverdi, meanwhile, have some money to spend after they sold Simone Zaza to Juventus for €18 million.

Cigarini is currently experiencing his second spell with La Dea after first joining them in 2008 before moving to Napoli.

His spell at Napoli was not long as Cigarini came back to Atalanta in 2011 on loan for two seasons before he joined them permanently at the end of the 2012-13 season.
