Spanish side Atletico Madrid are to make an enquiry into the possibility of signing Roma star Miralem Pjanic for next season.
The Bosnian had an indifferent campaign with the Giallorossi, suffering with dips in form as the side struggled to keep pace with eventual league winners Juventus.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the La Liga giants are set to approach the Serie A outfit with a view to starting negotiations with the player.
However, the report goes on to say that Roma have very little intention of selling their free-kick specialist and have slapped a €45 million price-tag on Pjanic in the hope it will ward of further requests to talk to the former Lyon star.
The 25-year-old has already made 126 league appearances for the club since joining in 2011 and has scored 17 goals.
