Paul Pogba will not be a major priority signing for Barcelona this summer.
Barcelona’s club president Josep Maria Bartomeu made the announcement despite their well known pursuit of the Juventus player, insisting that the coaching team has more important transfer targets.
“Pogba is not a priority for Luis Enrique but you cannot rule it out in the future.” said Bartomeu to Cadena Cope.
The highly coveted midfielder has a number of clubs around Europe reportedly vying for his signature, proving that his immediate future might not be at the Catalan giants but at other top clubs who are keen to add him to their ranks.
Pogba was part of the Juventus team that lost in last season’s Champions League final to Luis Enrique’s charges.
