Bee Taechaubol is expected to arrive in Milan on Wednesday in order to meet with AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi and complete the agreed purchase of a minority stake in the Italian giants.

Since early June, the Thai businessman has had an agreement with the former prime minister to take control of a 48% share in the Rossoneri, and having undertaken due diligence the deal is expected to be finalised before the agreed closing date of the 3rd of August.

The Corriere della Sera reports that Fininvest, the holding company through which Berlusconi owns Milan, anticipate that the sale will ratified before the end of this week and that Taechaubol should be installed as a minority shareholder by start of August.

“Mr Bee” has spent the last few days in China where he held a series of meetings with executives from CITIC Bank, the Hong Kong financial institution which will provide much of the capital for the purchase. It is believed that he was defining the details of his investment package with his business partners.
