Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that Sinisa Mihajlovic is the best coach that AC Milan could have hired.
Milan sacked Filippo Inzaghi after a disappointing season but Berlusconi is optimistic about the future with new coach Mihajlovic at the helm.
“Mihajlovic was a great player and he is the best coach that we could have hired,” Berlusconi said during Mihajlovic’s first press conference.
“I believe that Mihajlovic has the ability to lift Milan back to the top of Italian football.
“With Mihajlovic we now have the leadership to compete with Juventus.
“We should be aiming to win the scudetto, you have to aim for the highest goal when you are at a club like Milan.
“It is imperative that Milan return to the Champions League and Europe next season.
“Ibrahimovic is a great player, if we can then we will try to sign him”
