The agent of Cagliari defender Davide Astori has offered his client to Juventus, as the former Roma loanee looks for a way out of Serie B.

Astori spent last season on loan at the Stadio Olimpico, but as the Giallorossi declined to take up a permanent option on the Italian international this summer, he must now seek an alternative destination in order to remain in Serie A.

According to Tuttosport, previous suitors Napoli have dropped out of the race due to a dispute over image rights, while Fiorentina remain favourites for his signature at this stage.

However, the newspaper also states that the 28-year-old’s representatives have also sounded out champions Juventus about a possible move to Turin.

Such a transfer would see Astori team up once again with coach Massimiliano Allegri, whom he worked alongside at Cagliari for a period of two seasons.
