Marco Storari - JuventusVeteran goalkeeper Marco Storari is set to join Serie B side Cagliari following his departure from Juventus.

The 38-year-old made six appearances last season for the Bianconeri while deputising for Gianluigi Buffon – a role that he has performed since joining the Italian champions in 2010.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that the former AC Milan shotstopper has signed a two year contract with the Rossoblu, after rejecting a one year offer from Fiorentina.

Having started his career at Ancona, the Pisan ‘keeper played briefly for Napoli before coming to prominence during a successful spell with Messina.

Storari then joined AC Milan in 2007 but spent most of this time on loan.

In five seasons with Juve he has won the Scudetto four times.

Storari joins Cagliari following the Sardinian club’s relegation from Serie A as they seek to build a squad capable of returning to the top flight.
