Inter are given a boost in their attempts to sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado after Blues boss Jose Mourinho gave the green light to offload the Colombian.

Cuadrado joined the Blues during the January transfer window for a fee of around €33 million, but has failed to impress during his six-month stint at Stamford Bridge and may be making his way back to Serie A with Inter.

According to Sport Mediaset, Cuadrado’s agent is in Milan to discuss the potential move to the Nerazzurri after Mourinho gave his OK to any potential deal.

It is thought the former Fiorentina man will join Inter on a loan deal with the obligation to buy after one year at the club.

Although Cuadrado played 12 games with Chelsea he was not able to hit the back of the net once, under former Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella he notched 20 goals in 80 appearances in the Italian top flight.
