Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah has arrived in Rome ahead of a proposed move to Roma.

The 23-year-old arrived at Fiumicino airport earlier today, with the former Fiorentina man set for a medical with the Giallorossi tomorrow morning.

The Viola could still take legal action, meaning any deal would come to a halt until matters are resolved, with Salah risking a six month suspension from football .

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Rudi Garcia remains keen on the signature of Salah despite a wealth of attacking options including Juan Manuel Iturbe, Adem Ljajic, Francesco Totti, Iago Falque, Víctor Ibarbo, Mattia Destro, Gervinho, Seydou Doumbia and Antonio Sanabria.

Salah scored six goals during 16 appearances while on loan in Tuscany, joining as part of the deal that saw Juan Cuadrado join Jose Mourinho’s side. Mourinho has stated the former Basel winger does not feature in his plans ahead of the new Premier League season.
