Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o has had a bit of a blunder which may leave him feeling a little embarrassed, after the farewell letter that he addressed to Sampdoria, has turned out to be the exact same as the one he left to Premier League side Everton when he parted ways in January.
Eto’o recently joined Turkish side Antalyaspor after spending half a season in Genova, for which he thanked club fans and Samp owner Massimo Ferrero in a heart felt post on Facebook.
Well, it originally seemed heartfelt until someone noticed a strange similarity.
It turns out that the post from the 34-year-old is written almost exactly word for word, as the one which he gave to Everton at the start of the year, give or take a few names and places.
Is this a simple mistake or just lack of care from Eto’o? Either way we still find it funny!
