New Roma signing Iago Falque has spoken of his excitement at meeting up with his new teammates, admitting that he can’t wait to get started in the capital.
The Spaniard joined the Giallorossi after catching the eye with Genoa and it is hoped that he will be able to continue his fine form as Roma push for the Scudetto.
Speaking to Roma TV, the 25-year-old was keen link up with his teammates. “I can’t wait to start here and get to know my fellow teammates and the staff.”
Falque also discussed the pride, as well as the pressure and expectation that came with wearing the Roma shirt.
“Playing in this team is an honour and I expect to do well to repay the trust that was placed in me.”
