Lazio ace Felipe Anderson has been impressed with the capital club’s ambition in securing a Champions League spot, and revealed he wants to stay with the Biancocelesti for a long time.
Following his breakthrough campaign during the 2014-15 season with Lazio, Anderson has been linked with a move away from the Biancocelesti this summer, with Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich all rumored to be interested in the talented Brazilian.
“I renewed my contract with Lazio last March to avoid speculation over a possible transfer in the summer,” Anderson told Globoesporte.
“I am happy at Lazio, I want to stay here for a long time.
“I had the chance to show my potential last season and I utilised the opportunity effectively.
“Last season was wonderful for me, considering it as base level, I’ve still got to improve my skills.”
“Our objective at present should be getting into the Champions League and doing well in the competition.”
Anderson scored 10 goals and notched up seven assists during the 2014-15 season.
