Fiorentina’s proposed swap deal of Stefan Savic and Atletico Madrid’s Mario Suarez may have hit a stumbling block as Tottenham are also believed to be interested in the Spaniard.
Fiorentina are facing a new start with coach Paulo Sousa and have been looking for reinforcements to add depth to his squad. The Viola have been linked with a number of players including Roma’s Mattia Destro and Atleti’s Mario Suarez.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, the Gigliati’s move for the Spanish international has hit a hitch as Premier League side Tottenham have also made contact with the player’s representatives.
The deal is still thought to be possible but has been made considerably more difficult due to the recent actions of the North London side. Moreover, Suarez is also believed to be interested in a move to the Premier League.
