Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez is set to sign a four-year contract with Fiorentina that will run until 2019.
The 28-year-old is close to completing his move to the Viola in a deal that will see Stefan Savic move to the Colchoneros, providing new coach Paulo Sousa with a new reinforcement in midfield.
Firenzeviola.it reports that the 28-year-old sign a four-year deal with Fiorentina, and is already in Italy to start his new adventure after completing his medical on Monday.
Along with Suarez, Fiorentina will also receive a fee in the region of €9 million from Atletico Madrid for Savic.
The Spaniard has already endeared himself to his new fans, stating “Forza Viola” after completing his medical in Milan.
Fiorentina are now looking to land Genk star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to complete their midfield with Serie A rivals Lazio also keen to land the Serbian youngster.
