Mario Gomez has left Fiorentina to join Turkish side Besiktas.
The German international moves to Besiktas on an initial loan deal with the Turkish side having the option of buying the player at the end of the season.
Besiktas took to twitter to announce the signing.

Gomez only joined Fiorentina from Bayern Munich two years ago but made just 29 appearances for the Italian club in that time.
For Germany, Gomez has played 60 times and scored 25 although he was not included in the victorious German squad for the 2014
World Cup in Brazil.
