Sulley Muntari - AC MilanFormer AC Milan and Inter midfielder Sulley Muntari is reportedly set to earn €9 million in 2015-16 following his move to Saudi club, Al Ittihad.

The 30-year-old spent most of last season on the Rossoneri bench and as such, the details of his lucrative contract with the Jeddah-based side, have raised many an eyebrow throughout Italy.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, the Ghanaian will earn €7 million per season having signed a two-year contract with Al Ittihad, but is also owed a further €2 million from Il Diavolo following the termination of his contract.

By earning this amount next season, the fiery midfielder will become one of the world’s highest paid footballers, earning more than Carlos Tevez did with Juventus in 2014-15, and almost as much as Chelsea star and the Premier League’s player of the year, Eden Hazard.

Muntari, who began his professional career with Udinese, made 261 appearances in Serie A.
