Cassano and Savic - Parma v FiorentinaFormer Parma forward Antonio Cassano is the subject of interest from abroad in the shape of ambitious Turkish outfit Antalyaspor.

The 33-year-old has been a free agent since rescinding his contract with the doomed Crociati in January, but has often spoken of his wish to remain in Serie A with another previous employer in the shape of Sampdoria.

According to La Gazzetto dello Sport, the former AC Milan and Inter star will reject the lucrative offer from Turkey in order to pursue his dream of turning out once again for the Blucerchiati.

Il Doria president Massimo Ferrero is said to be open to a Cassano return, but with clauses inserted into the agreement relating to behaviour and disciplinary issues, following a series of much-publicised bust-ups in the past.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted Turkish Super League outfit Antalyaspor have already signed a number of players ahead of the new season, including Sampdoria striker Samuel Eto’o and Chievo midfielder Dejan Lazarevic on loan.
