Ravel MorrisonThe career of Ravel Morrison in Italy appears to have started off in the best possible way, with the player looking in menacing mood after an impressive display in a pre-season friendly for new club Lazio.

The ex-West Ham United player has had a tumultuous time as a professional footballer, with reports of indiscipline within his personal life, and was even expected to leave the Biancocelesti without even having kicked a ball.

However, La Nazione is reporting that the creative midfielder stood out against amateurs Auronzo, scoring two fantastic goals and offering a brace of assists in a dominant 14-0 win over the Venetian-based club.

The 22-year-old had once been hailed as a future star of English football, with former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson claiming ‘he was the best player he had seen at that age’.

Things have yet to work out for Morrison, though playing in Serie A away from the British media, could be the catalyst for fresh start.
