AC Milan goalkeeper Gabriel has renewed his contract with the Rossoneri, ending speculation about a possible departure from the club.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Serie B Champions Carpi FC after signing during September.
The club’s official Twitter account announced on Wednesday that Gabriel signed a deal that will keep him at the club until June 2018.
The former Cruziero shot stopper has made just seven appearances for the Milan club since being handed his competitive debut by then coach Massimiliano Allegri, keeping a clean sheet during a 1-0 victory over Udinese at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
