Roma will visit Hellas Verona in the first game of the new Serie A season.
The fixtures for the 2014/15 campaign were released a few days ago, with some tasty ties in the first few weeks such as a Derby della Madonnina and Roma vs Juventus, but the first ball will be kicked in anger at the Stadio Bentegodi.
Serie A announced a kick-off time of 18:00 for the match on August 22, before the rest of the fixtures take place that evening and across Sunday.
Other games to look out for in the first round of the new season are Fiorentina vs AC Milan, Frosinone’s first top-flight match at home to Torino and Carpi’s Serie A debut away to Sampdoria.
Roma host Juventus on August 30, while Inter play Milan in the first derby of the season on September 13.
