It is no secret that Inter have been on the market for a new winger, with Wolfsburg star Ivan Perisic their main priority, but they have set their gaze elsewhere after talks stagnated for the Croatian.
Le10Sport report that the Nerazzurri have initiated contact with Rennes over a possible transfer of Ntep, who is also interesting Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
The French club recently knocked back a €9 million offer from Sunderland, and it will take a hefty bid by Inter to convince them to sell their most prized asset.
The player meanwhile isn’t overly keen on a move to the Serie A giants, preferring to wait for a club that is currently competing in the Champions League.
