Stevan Jovetic FiorentinaInter have turned their attention to Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic as Roberto Mancini looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old Montenegro international has struggled with injury and form since joining City for close to €30 million from Fiorentina in 2013.

TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting the Nerazzurri are ready to offer the attacker a return to Italy after an indifferent experience at the City of Manchester Stadium and are willing to sacrifice any deal for Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah to secure the transfer.

Jovetic made just 13 starts last season in all competitions for the English Premier League runners-up, with Mancini keen to pair Jovetic with last season’s Capocannoniere winner Mauro Icardi in the Biscione attack.

Egyptian winger Salah, who recently decided not to return to Fiorentina after a successful loan spell last season will now have to find a new destination.
