Inter have completed the loan signing of Barcelona’s Martin Montoya.
The 24-year-old has initially joined the Stadio Meazza side on loan, but the Nerazzurri retain the option of making the transfer permanent at a later date.
In a short statement released on their official club website, Inter.it, they welcomed their newest Spanish recruit.
“F.C. Internazionale is delighted to announce that Martin Montoya has joined the club on loan from FC Barcelona,” the statement read.
The player had arrived in Milan on Thursday to complete a medical, and now, having completed all of the formalities, the transfer has become official.
The 24-year-old has already won nine trophies in his professional career, and played a part of Barcelona’s treble winning season last year, though he only featured eight times in the 2014-15 La Liga season for the Catalan club.
