Danilo D’Ambrosio has said Inter will be targeting the Scudetto this season as the Nerazzurri attempt to re-establish themselves as one of the top sides in Italy.

Inter fullback D’Ambrosio gave an interview to SportMediaset after training, to share his first impressions of the Nerazzurri’s preseason training camp and look ahead to the approaching season.

“We received a very warm welcome when we arrived in Brunico, just like we were expecting. And the weather is pretty hot too,” began D’Ambrosio.

“The club is doing some great work in the transfer market and we’ll try to do our bit in achieving our objectives.”

D’Ambrosio, who has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Meazza, also touched on his future.

“It’s nice to hear of other clubs’ interest, but I’m very happy at Inter and my future is definitely with the Nerazzurri,” D’Ambrosio said.

“We’ll try to take a different attitude into matches this year in order to get results.

“The club is having a fantastic transfer window, some great players have joined and I hope they can make a big contribution here.

“I don’t want to talk about the Scudetto too much, but I will say that we’ll do everything we can to get top prize in the league.”
