Francesco Bardi has revealed his delight in joining Spanish side Espanyol.
The 23-year-old has moved to Spain on loan from Inter and Bardi is excited about playing in La Liga.
“I chose Espanyol because it is a glorious club, with a great history and a very important project.” Bardi told Calciomercato.it
“As soon as I start to work with the team and coach, I will give my all for the club.
“I am only thinking about improving at Espanyol and giving 100% to the side.
“I am very found of Inter and Livorno, as they are two clubs that mean a lot to me and that I have spent a lot of time at.
“But I am only focusing on Espanyol.
“I am excited to play against the two best players in the world, [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo.
“I am looking forward to playing at new stadiums such as the Camp Nou.
“It will be extra motivation for myself.
“I am convinced that this team will have a say against every opponent it comes up against.”
