Inter have reportedly made a €20 million offer for Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian was on loan at Fiorentina during the second half of last season and made quite the impact in Tuscany, bagging six goals and three assists in 16 Serie A matches. However, the player has decided he doesn’t want to stay at the Stadio Franchi for another season, though wants to stay in Italy.
Fiorentina did have an option to keep the 23-year-old at the club on loan for another year, with the option to buy at the end of next season, but Salah did have the ability to veto the deal, which he has done, much to the anger of La Viola who are threatening legal action.
Now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are set to step in and have offered Chelsea €20m to take the player to the Stadio Meazza.
It is thought the Nerazzurri are keen to bring in a wide attacking player, and have shortlisted Salah, as well as Blues teammate Juan Cuadrado, and Wolfsburg’s Ivan Periši?.
