Inter midfielder Fredy Guarin admitted that he is impressed by some of the signings made by local rivals AC Milan.
The Colombian also spoke about the power of compatriot Carlos Bacca, following the striker’s move to the Rossoneri whilst the Inter man also praised the new arrivals at the Nerazzurri.
“They [Milan] are constructing a good squad, [Carlos] Bacca is powerful, quick and he moves well off the ball and because of this he receives the ball often inside the area,” said Guarin to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Guarin also suggested that he believes Stevan Jovetic will be the signing of the summer before passing judgement on the other signings that Inter have made.
“I’ve played against him [Jovetic] before, he has great character and he is lethal in one on one situations,” said Guarin.
“Martin Montoya is coming in from Barcelona, Miranda is a top player, he will give us some experience and a winning mentality.
“He displays this mentality every day in training and not just during matches.
“[Geoffrey] Kondogbia is young and he hasn’t won much but he has a crazy hunger to do well and he knows what it means to wear a historic shirt like our one.”
