Inter are closing in on Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic.

The Nerazzurri have been very busy this summer and look set to add Jovetic to their already strong list of signings, with reports claiming that the Milanese side are progressing in their negotiations with Manchester City.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Inter have reached a basic agreement with Manchester City to sign Jovetic for €15 million.

Jovetic will initially go on loan to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, however the Nerazzurri will have an obligation to buy the player outright.

The ex-Fiorentina man has been linked with a move back to Italy for some time now, with Juventus also mentioned as potential suitors.

The Montenegrin forward moved to Manchester in 2013 for a reported fee of €30 million.

However, Jovetic has struggled with injuries and has fallen out of favour with coach Manuel Pellegrini.

As a result Jovetic only made 13 starts last season in all competitions.
