Inter president Erick Thohir is working on a move to bring ex-Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado back to Serie A.

The Colombian international signed for Premier League champions Chelsea in January, but has failed to make any impact on the side since joining, and has only started four league matches for the London club.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the player’s agent is currently staying at the same hotel as Thohir, and the club have been linked with a move for the winger since the opening of the summer transfer window.

Inter have not been shy of spending money so far this transfer window, already bringing Atletico Madrid defender Miranda and Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, despite interest from other clubs around Italy and Europe.

The 27-year-old spent time at Udinese and a loan spell at Lecce in Italy, before making a name for himself under Vincenzo Montella at the Viola.
