Inter have identified Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic as the club’s main priority in reinforcing their attack during the transfer window.

The Nerazzurri have already spent more than €50 million on Geoffrey Kondogbia, Miranda and Jelson Murillo but are reportedly still on the lookout for a striker who could partner Mauro Icardi up front next season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jovetic’s agent Fali Ramadani arrived in Milan yesterday to start discussions with Inter over his client’s availability but it remains to be seen whether Manchester City are willing to sell him or not.

The 25-year-old has attracted much attention from Serie A with Inter not being the only side interested in him.

Both Juventus and Roma also have Jovetic on their radar which is why Roberto Mancini’s men are looking at Lazio striker Keita Balde as a suitable alternative should they miss out on the Montenegrin.

Jovetic has failed to nail down a first team place at the City of Manchester stadium making 39 appearances and scoring 11 goals in his two years at the club.
